This qualification is aimed at non-medical professionals seeking a pathway into aesthetics and skin rejuvenation who do not wish to follow the traditional beautician route. Learners who successfully achieve this qualification will be able to progress to foundation aesthetics programmes. To achieve the Pathway to Aesthetics Certificate, non-qualification learners must achieve all 4 mandatory units.
- Principles of Health and Safety in Aesthetic Practice
- Principles of Communication and Consultation
- Principles of Client Assessment and Skin Analysis
- Principles of Anatomy and Physiology for Skin Treatments
Total Qualification Time (TQT) – 160 hours This is an estimate of the total length of time it is expected that a learner will typically take to achieve and demonstrate the level of attainment necessary for the award of the qualification i.e. to achieve all learning outcomes. A minimum time of completion is 160 hours before a learner can move on to any aesthetic courses. This includes 16 hours pre-study First Aid. Once you have completed this course you will be fully qualified and will meet the insurance requirements to start performing injectables safely straight away. If you need any extra support, we will help you until you are 100% confident.

Topics Covered
Chemical Peel Course
This course covers chemical peels which are a solution applied to the face to remove dead skin cells, stimulate the growth of new cells and even skin tone.
Students will learn how to improve the appearance of the skin including reducing age spots, evening of skin tone, improvement of skin texture and reduction of pigmentation.
Micro-needling Course
This course covers the micro-needling of vitamins, plant extracts, enzymes to produce a wide range of benefits including improving and tightening the skin, removing fat cells, stretch marks, scars, pigmentation and activating hair follicles.
Dermaplaning Course
This course covers Dermaplaning which is an exfoliating treatment that removes tiny hair fuzz and dead skin with a tiny blade.
Vitamin B12 & C Injections Course
This course covers the injection of vitamin B12 & C on live models. Vitamin injections provide a range of health and wellness benefits including improved energy, increased fat loss and boosted immunity.
Dermal filler course
This course is our foundation Dermal Filler course and includes lips, nasolabial folds and marionette lines.
