The Pathway to Aesthetics Certificate in the Principles of Cosmetic Procedures for Aesthetic Practitioners is a 160 hours online course designed to provide learners with an entry level qualification into the Beauty and Aesthetics industry.
Learners will develop a broad understanding of health and safety in aesthetics practice, communication and consultation, client assessment and skin analysis and anatomy and physiology for skin treatments. The course is recognised by multiple insurance companies and is the fastest way for non-medics to gain a qualification in Aesthetics.
This course includes a foundation course on Botox with practical work on live models.

This qualification is aimed at non-medical professionals seeking a pathway into aesthetics and skin rejuvenation who do not wish to follow the traditional beautician route. Learners who successfully achieve this qualification will be able to progress to foundation aesthetics programmes. To achieve the Pathway to Aesthetics Certificate, non-qualification learners must achieve all 4 mandatory units.
Total Qualification Time (TQT) – 160 hours This is an estimate of the total length of time it is expected that a learner will typically take to achieve and demonstrate the level of attainment necessary for the award of the qualification i.e. to achieve all learning outcomes. A minimum time of completion is 160 hours before a learner can move on to any aesthetic courses. This includes 16 hours pre-study First Aid. Once you have completed this course you will be fully qualified and will meet the insurance requirements to start performing injectables safely straight away.
